As an operatic singer she has appeared all over the world and has increased her audience with a series of popular concert tours and recordings. She first sprang to popular public notice in the UK when she sang at the prince's request at the wedding of the Prince and Princess of Wales. Her attractive television presence and her willingness to sing modern, as well as classical, works has led to many guest television appearances.
She has a rich, creamy soprano voice and much charm and stage presence. Her operatic rôles include the Marscallin in Richard Strauss’s Der Rosenkavalier, and the Countess in Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro.
